Lentävänniemi Sauna
A new public sauna under construction at Halkoniemi harbour on Lake Näsijärvi, with a spacious shared sauna, a café and a lakeside terrace.
What to expect
Lentävänniemi's new sauna is being built on the shore of Lake Näsijärvi, at the start of the Halkoniemi harbour breakwater. It is planned for around 45 bathers. The sauna room is shared by women and men, with separate washing and changing rooms. Between rounds there will be a café, a lounge, a large terrace and a place to swim. The project is run by Pereensaaren Sauna Oy, the company behind Pereensaari sauna. According to the entrepreneur, the interior aims for a Japanese-inspired feel in dark, calm tones. Construction began in summer 2026 and the target is to open in July 2027. The schedule and services will be confirmed as building progresses.
